Dirt and grime will inevitably build up in the grout that surrounds your tiles, and because the tile and grout surfaces are usually not flush, it adds extra difficulty to the cleaning process.
You could use a large, soft brush over the entire tiled surface which will clean both at once. However, your bristles may not be strong enough to clean the grout without scratching and damaging your tile.
That\'s why we recommend using a small brush (a common toothbrush will do), and then you simply focus on cleaning the grout only, working your way in between tiles. A household cleaning solution that is safe and effective is a mixture of baking soda and hydrogen peroxide. This will both disinfect and lighten the grout, restoring it to a like-new appearance.
